RIP Justin Wilson 😢 Justin Wilson passed away aged 37 after succumbing to injuries sustained in Sunday's IndyCar race at Pocono. Wilson was struck in the head with debris from the crashed car of Sage Karam and airlifted to hospital. Here he remained in a coma before passing away on Monday. Wilson drove for Minardi and Jaguar during the 2003 Formula One season, scoring 1 point. Later he went on to compete in the Champ Car series from 2004–07, scoring four wins. From 2008-15 he compete in the IndyCar Series driving for Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and Andretti Autosport. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family at this time. #RIPJustinWilson by motorsport_photography
